Unfortunately Hampshire sheen is closing it’s doors after 10 years of serving the wood turning community with great finishing products, I currently have very limited supplies left in stock for Canadians, so if you are looking to purchase some Hampshire sheen product then this is your last chance, all items are on sale until there is none left and it is all selling quickly, some items have already sold out so don’t wait.

What is next for Woodslee Summercraft? that is a good question, after having lost the sole rights to sell Yorkshire grit abrasive paste which was one of my main sellers and now losing Hampshire sheen which is the products that started my small business 10 years ago I myself find myself asking the same question.

I introduced Superior grit abrasive paste 2 years ago and it has been well received by the Canadian wood turning community however I have to re think my business plan with only 2 main products.

I still have some stock of mylands sanding sealer but unfortunately it has become impractical to import from any US supplier so when my stock of that runs out that too will disapear from my stock.

Thankfully William Wood Write stocks Superior grit abrasive pastes, both original and microfine at unbeatable prices in both 2 oz and 8 oz containers, so I am contemplating closing my doors and simply supplying them with product.

I will have pen blanks for sale on facebook groups and I may see if William Wood Write is interested in stocking my supply but for now I want to thank each and every one of my loyal Canadian customers for supporting my small Business.

Sandpaper.ca will be stocking Canadian made Superior grit Original and Microfine.

Unfortunately Mylands line of product will be unavailable for the foreseeable future, this is due to a recall from Health Canada due to labelling issues. I hope that this can be resolved soon but until then I will not be stocking any Mylands products

Some of our regular customers and visitors to the webpage will notice that there has been some changes to the layout and menu options.

This will be an on going development over the coming weeks to improve the navigation of our website and to make it more user friendly.

We are delighted to be stocking a new range of finishing products from UK based Mylands , Check out the products in our shop.

Please know that i am currently in the process of changing my tins from aluminum screw top tins to the new lever top paint cans, so some of you may receive a 250 ml aluminum can with 150 ml of product in it, if that is what you have ordered. I have run out of the old 150 ml cans so am using up the remainder of what i have.

My website is going to be updated soon to show another new Hampshire sheen Product available in Canada and also formatted to show the new look.
